Ok -- It is almost the end of December and I have failed to keep the blog going. Well-- hopefully this will change.

Today I am making my family and friends their favorite cookie. Almond Lace Cookies. I have to make at least 75 dozen to fill all the orders I get. Then I am completely and absolutely sick of them. I tore my rotator cuff in my right arm (fell down a flight of stairs) and my husband is nice to be available to stir the ingredients together at the right time.

It is very cloudy and dreary here in Southern Indiana. But the cookies are turning out OK. YAHOO!!!

OK-- back to cookie baking and my goal is to finish today.

Boy, last night I felt like Toto. I thought we were going to take off with the 70+ mph winds. Our patio furniture was next door. We have limbs and leaves covering the backyard. I was afraid to look but my sunflowers survived.

I am off to get a pedicure so at least my toes will look good for my niece's wedding. Will be busy the rest of the week with parties. Bridal shower and rehersal dinner Friday then wedding and reception Saturday and Sunday an after wedding breakfast. I'm pooped already.

I won't get any sewing done this week. But when I sit down to relax (maybe), I can knit on my granddaughter's vest.

Hopefully I will be able to post in the mornings.

Tuesday August, 5

OK-- Here I am at being a blogger. Hope you all enjoy and come back.

Here are some visitors I had Sunday morning. 1 Mom and 2 Kids they were having a ball eating and chasing each other out our back window.

Here is a picture of my Morning Glories covering the fence of my dog run. It's neat I did not notice the bee flying around the flowers when I was taking the pictures.

Would love to do the Morning Glories in a quilted wall hanging.

Enjoy!!!
