African Quilt, Morning Glories, Cornflowers

Well, I finally got the top and the backing of my niece's African Quilt sent to thequilter this past week.

I went out early this morning to wrap the stems of the morning glories around the copper wire I have strung across the dog fence. I turned around and found the first blooming glories on the fence. The pictur does not show the deep purple true color but they are gorgeous.

Here is a picture of the yellow and purple coneflowers in the garden.Enjoy the pictures and Keep on Quilting.

I have never seen the yellow coneflowers. I know there are a lot of colors of them now but I hadn't bought any until this year I got a red one. It hasn't bloomed yet but it is close.
